Live in Manhattan and looking to get my F30 tinted. Can't seem to find a reliable tint shop in the near vicinity that'll do it for <$200. I know, you get what you pay for, but I'm going with the assumption that if they have good reviews and a good warranty policy (1 year?) that sub-$200 shouldn't be hard to find.

Anyone have any suggestions, deals, referrals?

Not sure, I know they have viper for 160 but the cheapest one has always been good so why overspend

S*** in CT and the Bronx they want $200-$225.. I can't see spending that much on Film..

I paid $300 for the best along with Crashnbrn5 why have a 60k+ car and not give it good tints? I could def tell the difference btwn my past tints and this one in various ways.

TheArtOfTint.com in Brooklyn as well they only deal with 100k+ cars so we appreciate that.

Bahn360Photo might have to take you up for that shop you're recommending though , i know there are diff film types, some are better for blocking UV-Rays and Heat too,etc

Even If a $100 Tinter or $150 told me he'll do it for free cuz I'm a nice guy I would say get the fuck out of here. Some of the highest quality tint jobs in the world go for over 1000 sometimes about 1200 for the whole car including the windshield, then about 750 without the windshield.

Spending anyway between 280 and 500 is a very good idea because you get what you pay for and you always get lifetime warranty, one year warranty on a tint job is embarrassing

I got my car tinted by Tom from art of tint in Brooklyn as well and after going I definitely plan on coming back in the future when I need another car done.

Wow you guys are nuts for getting a $100 tint job. Is it, like, purple?

A fair price for metallic tint should be ~$250-$300 with ceramic tint at ~$350-$400 and come with a lifetime warranty.

Just had mine done... Johnson Renegade tint at 5% in the back & 20% in both front windows. Have to go back to get the front winshield tinted also, maybe 50%
Heres a pic, i know the car is dirty.... But just sharing.

I was hoping that it wouldnt be too dark (the front windows) but as you can see its dark...
Darker than I had anticipated but I like it.

These tints are the Johnson Renegade.
I can forward u his info if you are interested.
I will get the front windshield (50%) done soon by the same tinter.
Maybe get the fronts replaced by 5% also...
