BMW quotes .6 hours to install the Alcantara/CF interior kit. A member here was quotes as much as $800 to do the job lol. Took me 25 minutes to get my stock wood kit off the car.

I really hope they don't screw over us x-Drive folks again. I am on the wall about getting x-drive in my next vehicle because of their lack of performance suspension support/upgrades for it. I do not really want to go the coil-over route again. Especially if I can get magnetic dampers on the next 3/4 series.

M Performance Exhaust for 328i is new. I'm surprised they haven't released an intake kit like they did for E46 & E90 cars.

Am I reading that correctly, that an M sport retrofit is $900?
I assume that's just changing the front and rear bumpers to the M-sport bumpers?

It reads like you'd have to order front/rear bumpers in addition. So I guess the $900 gets you the wheel, and maybe the Sport suspension. I can't imagine they'd give you new seats as well.

Thanks for the details
![]() 2 Questions ; 1) No performance gains from the 328i exhaust right ? 2) Can we expect an M Performance Intake for the N20 any time soon ?

I like this note....
“Note: to ensure proper driving behavior/aerodynamic balance, the rear trunk lid spoiler must always be installed in conjunction with the front splitter.”

The electronics tied to the exhaust and ECU make it incredibly hard. I already looked into it.

No intake at this time, likely doubt it as the stock intake is fairly well engineered.

I think the PPK has already been released for the other models.
I'd like to know why there are two completely separate releases for the M-sport for the PPK. I really hope BMW snuck in some extra aggressive coding on the stock M-sport so it already makes a little extra horsepower over the standard model. ![]() I also noticed that if you get the M suspension upgrade listed above, you have to separately buy the M-sport front and rear stabilizer bars too? Almost seems like the M-sport might have upgraded stabilizer bars over the stock model too? |
