They're from Germany but good quality, you need x4 as description says x2 leds but mean ms there are 2 leds per board

No worries, yeah so door cards come off plenty of tutorial on YouTube, I changed mine without removing the holder from the acrylic tube as it's quite fragile so try not to snap it or the light won't shine through it properly.

theres x4 clips on each holder and then led comes out and new one fits in, only thing I found is closing it only 3 clips go in one corner sticks out but won't make a difference

You also need 2x of the below if you wish to switch out your footwell lights also. Driving at night looks pretty spiffy.

Had mine a couple of months now and been tidying it up. Needed a little bit of paint work, wheel refurb etc.

Sapphire Black with Individual extended leather interior inc dash top
HK, M Sport brakes, adaptive icon 1 LEDs, heated front and rear seats, elec memory seats with lumbar, BMW retractable tow bar (odd option), comfort access, variable sports steering, reverse cam
LCI rear lights
Gloss black kidney grills
Aftermarket CarPlay
440i exhaust and M Performance diffuser
442 wheels in Ferric Grey 2
ACS springs
Eibach 15/12 spacers
F8x bump stops
Soft close boot coding

Love the car so far

Planning a massive audio upgrad
Also wanting to change the satin black diffuser for either gloss black or maybe ferric grey.
Will also add a boot spoiler and front Mperformance splitter…. Again maybe in grey

Silver would contrast better but I'd say go with carbon. You can't go wrong with carbon!

Question for any GC or Coupe owners with window tint - How did yo handle the fact that you cant roll your windows down for 24 hours (or however long it is) when the windows automatically have to go down a bit for the doors to open?

Don't sweat it. Just use the drivers door for 24 hours. I live in Florida so it was good by the time I picked it up. What is annoying is the stupid dot matrix on the glass
