For once I agree with Nick... one of the best looking cars on the road that doesn't cost a ridiculous amount of money!

How do you find it for noise and refinement compared to your old 5 series?

I think the lines are ruined by making it a 4 door

But then if you need back doors ...

I'm likely to got for a plug in hybrid next time, and if that's in a GC then I'd be very pleased, but I think it's more likely to be in a F30, or the next gen 5 series.

The road noise is worse than the 5 series but this could be the tyres as they are p zero vs bridgestone on the 5

Very lovely indeed.

In my eyes, this is the best f3x and the best engine. Just tell me it's not an x drive....

Lovely
I've had mine a month now and love it even more than I did on the test drive.
Kinda wish I'd gone for the 30d, just for the extra thump into seat but still not sure I could justify the fuel cost difference over 18k a year.
I know if I drove one now, I'd say hell to it, but I'm still loving the 20d for the mpg its giving me. I also like the balance of the vehicle with the 4 pot.
I'm presuming you may still be in the same mode as I am at this stage, i.e. doesnt matter if you've had the day from hell, stuck in traffic for 3 hours on way home from work, get back into garage, sit there and think "where can I blat it to now?" and take it back out!
I've done 3.5k in 4 weeks in this, due to that reason, just cant stop taking it back out! Not good for my agreed annual mileage figures, need to calm it down!

Looks stunning!
I picked up my 430d GC a few days ago and will post pictures as soon as I can pull myself out of the drivers seat whilst there is still daylight to take some pictures.

Does anyone know if the leather dash adds anything to the GMFV?

Love seeing F36's on the forum. The fact that i dont see many on the road is compensated by this forum!

I recently had a 420D GC on 19s, courtesy car, and it had the worst ride I've ever experienced even in comfort mode.

Hope yours is a lot better resolved. Maybe the extra weight of the 30D up front helps settle things.
