Terminate contract hire

just be offered a good deal a new 6 series, however I can't change unless I pay 50% of my remaining rentals and give the car back. I have got 7 more months yet.

The 640 deal ends in September and delivered by December the 10th...

So has anyone managed to get out of a contract hire agreement ?

Regards

David

Just tell them that the deal isn't good enough. Do it while leafing through your wallet, making sure that the business card from Jaguar sales (or other brand) is on show, and ask them to come up with something better.

I ended a lease deal a few years ago. I took an £800 hit as the car I wanted was discounted to assist me.Can't you have a word with the dealer and see if there is any middle ground?

I need to do my man maths without being clouded by the 640 .... to see if it was worth it.

I took a hit on my S5 to move to BMW but this hit is a little more substantial.

Teh problem is the dealer deal is with BMW and my current deal is with arval so they will not give me anything....

Maths time tonight !

Ask the dealer to pay off your lease. Job jobbed!

getting out of a lease isnt entirely easy. Are you saying that by the Dec 10 delivery you'll have 7 months left?

- you can have someone else take over your lease
- you can pay the 50% and move along
- you can negotiate with the dealer, maybe that can relieve some of the cost (most likely not going to happen)

Can't be much left to pay if you take delivery in Dec. couple of months at 50% can't be too painful.
