happy owner of a F31

Hi All,
Great forum info and banter! have been reading for a couple of months, and picked up a 330d (2012, with 12k on the clock) a few weeks back from AUD. So this forum has been valuable in my decision, was going down the 320d route but a 330d came up fully loaded, slightly cheaper insurance than a 320d.
Couldn't be happier the torque and drive around the B roads! missus is the main user of the car so she is impressed!
Was testing the adaptive m suspensions on a small round between drive modes and the difference is really noticeable.. Glad I got these on this car as another dealer was telling me its only worth having if you tow a caravan, maybe because the car he was trying to sell didn't have them.
Still finding out stuff about the car, help that a friend has one!.. last night used the park assistance first time (reversed parallel parked the car automatically) worked well, wonder if it prevents kerbing! will probably have to show the missus as she drove a Polo.

On a full tank done just over 400 miles 90% town drives. So looking forward to out trip to Yorkshire.

Taking to dealers in a couple of weeks to look at the A/C, on full power it sounds like a jet engine! also the drivers side seat is showing through to the metal.. (picture attached)

Welcome!

Looks like you may have a rusty seat base which seemed to affect early cars.

Welcome to the forum. Good to know that it's been of help. I was looking at a 320d, but after being on here, went for a 330d - and so pleased I did.
I didn't spec adaptive suspension as I didn't think I'd miss it - and also I don't pull a shed you know...

I've just got about 480 miles on a tank and was wondering if that's good, but my drives are a bit less towny than yours.

That seat looks like it could do with a fix - the dealer could find an upholsterer maybe.

30d is a great engine! Nice looking car - shame about that seat though, hopefully it gets sorted
