Saw an mp claimed £00.09 for a 350 yard car journey yesterday....
.... What's the shortest legitimate car journey you have done? ?

I go out the exit of the drive, 20 yards along the road and come back in the entrance on a regular basis trying to hear if my next "cure" for creaking and squeaks has worked!

I've no idea what makes it legitimate though!

A taxi to the pub across the road...

Okay, the road was a dual carriageway and it was pissing down.

But pub was literally across the road lol, the walk was too long though

We did something similar last year for our work group when stayin at the hideaous Hinckley Island hotel... minibus to get us to the restaurant that was literally across the road. Some H&S advisor told us that we had to as it was a busy road, and dark, even though it was all of about 70 metres as the crow flies.

This one had a walkway / bridge over it, however was like 100 yds there and the 100yds back up to the other pub.

I claimed for it too lol
