I need this for the retrofit of my rear seats. Have the OEM heating pads and real console fascia with buttons, now I need the connection diagram and connecting loom part number.

HEATING ELEMENTS: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...55&hg=52&fg=65 Check part No. depending on whether your car has thru-load backrest system or not. SWITCHES: Switch, seat heating, left rear part No. 61319163292 Switch, seat heating, right rear part No. 6131916329 CONSOLE FASCIA: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...51&fg=35&hl=25 Check based on the colour of your interior (Black was the only available fascia last summer). So, once you have all these parts the question I have is: How do we connect them?? Is there a specific loom like in previous models? Cheers, Martin

I've got the wiring, fitted the panel, coded etc. The power to the seats is easy enough just need to know where the single control wire goes to the REM.
I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and pay for access to bmwtis.com Last edited by beema_geeza; 01-04-2015 at 08:15 PM.. |

Just front I don't think there's an actual retrofit pdf for either, I couldn't find it anyway. I looked at the rear diagram while looking for what I was after.
They would be simple to do like these were. |

I bought Msport leather with everything already installed so it was just a case of new climate panel, 3 wires to each seat and coding.
I ran 2x 12v from power distribution box under the bonnet, fuse 64&65 to seat plug X14*1b pin 25 and earthed pin 26 locally. I ran a single wire from X14*1b pin 8 on both seats and spliced together for linbus to the REM plug A174*14b pin 18. Added 494 to VO and coded all ecus. Little bit different to mine. I don't have electric seats only bolsters so mine don't have or need Can wires. This is the diagram for my drivers seat module

Sorry to be a thread necrmancer - but I recently got my F30 335ix and wanted to know if anyone has gotten the rear seats retrofit to work out. I'm annoyed that here in Canada, this isn't a standard package for 2013 and I would love this for my kids.
I have the parts list from earlier in the thread, so that's good to go. However, I have a few more questions: 1) Was the wiring harness for the back seats already there, or do you have to get that too? I don't see a part number in RealOEM - the harnesses for the back seats are greyed out. 2) How do you wire up the rear seat heater buttons to work? Is there a harness tap in under the centre console? If someone has a pinout already it would be awesome if you could share. 3) Is there any programming involved? |

I had looked into this as well, I have the Front Heated Seats and thought about doing rear, but there is no pre-wiring in my car that I could find. For rear seat heating, you would need to replace the seats as well as add a module for each side(driver and passenger), and replace/add the buttons. All the wiring for the rear seat heating runs to the REM module in the trunk, and you would most likely need to code it to enable the heating function once everything is installed.
See this page for the modules: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=61_3598 |

The harness that I was hoping was there already is the one listed as #3 and 4 here. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=61_2970 But it looks like the bill is climbing rapidly... |
