Hi, I'm a newbie in the UK and am considering to retrofit this rear electric blind option on my F30.
My 2012 320d Efficiency Dynamics appears to be missing the wiring for a roller sun blind. Any chance I can be pointed to where the REM A174 pin 34 and 35 are located please.

Thanks bud.
(That's a bit more work than I realised

Does Bimmercode do the coding or only pc/laptop sys based software recode it in?

Hi IK6SPEED, I've attempted to PM you but your setting wouldn't allow me to.
If you're happy to ship to Australia, would you mind dropping me a line please? Thanks.

The wires go to the REM (-which is a unit near the battery).
I believe not all our F30s instantly have the correct REM (my 320d ED hasn't), and on mine the plug-in, situated behind the rear pillar, is totally absent.
It may even be a UK thing for us not to have the prewires installed by BMW as standard, I don't know maybe it's not sunny enough(!)
The missing connections, that wire up to the electric sun blind, are available on a few of the 'V1' REMs -and they need to be coded to the car as well after installation with Esys (which I have no clue about -yet?).
The sun blind installation also requires coding too, I'm advised.
I'm not even sure if the required replacement control switch will just slot straight into place without the need for additional wires to the FEM??
This all sounds confusing and more work than is worth it, but stupidly, I have started obtaining the parts at this stage, to have a pop at it. I just need the 2 wires (preferably with BMW coupler), control switch assembly and E-sys cable (software familiarisation) to source. My Bimmercode won't work on this. This install job will take a while cos I'm sick at the moment and have other jobs mounting.

GAWD!! it was so so much simpler on the E46 retrofit -back in the day (when I was younger!

Love our rear sun shade (2014 335i).. but now I want to install Blackvue front & rear cams. First trying to see if it’s even possible, due to the sun shade. Any feedback here?

f30 sunshade retrofit help please

Hi guys!
I know this is an older thread hopefully someone can help me. I have a 2018 F30 330i I wanted to do this retrofit so I purchased the lid and the button and installed both... unfortunately I don't know where to plug the blind into. The roller blind has a plug coming off of it but my car doesn't have any wiring for the Sunblind plug. Im wondering if there is a module or wire I have to purchase and install to connect the Sunblind to my car?

If anyone knows what wire it needs or how to go about now please lmk.

Thanks guys!
