Video from a rainy day with the PCA. Took my 2013 F30 to the track and we had a blast passing all day long. Not a single point bye. Intermediate Group.

Enjoy!

What engine do you have in that 2013 F30? Mods?

Great video (unless you own a Porsche)

Stock F30 with PS4S tires. The equalizer was the rain. And maybe that I've done a number of track days in rain, not to mention my hardware isn't nearly as costly so running balls out wasn't so scary.

Tracking in the rain is a blast. Don't let a rainy day keep you away.

I've owned a couple of P-Cars. Our local PCA puts on some great events.

PS4S is the rain tire of choice and your driving shows it off really well. I did a PCA event at LRP a few years ago, think there was some rain. Fun crowd.

I had a set of PS4S on the car in, first thing I changed on it, actually. They kicked off my suspension rabbit hole.

Living in an apartment I had to run RS4 for drive on/off (NYC). Inferior to the PS4S in the wet, no doubt, but more manageable than the other 200TWs.

Not sure how old your car is or if M-Sport or not, but most F30's are getting to that age where replacing the suspension, even with new OE/Bilstein parts, makes a large improvement.

Camber is what really changes the game, though. There are even some OEM options for that as well if you want less of a project.

ah i see. it's about 7 years old, so i guess it's due. still thinking if i should buy the monoballs or not to replace the upper/thrust and lower control arm.

as for camber, what is the right setup? should i buy the camber plate as well?

Replacing your control arms and struts is not a bad idea at that age. It will firm/sharpen things back to new. FCP Euro has reasonable prices and you buy in to the lifetime warranty. If you ever hit a pot hole or something wears out, you're covered.

If I were to suggest 2 mods alongside a front suspension refresh it would be the Millway Street Camber Plates and the Millway Street thrust arm/tension strut monoballs. Both add very little NVH which is great for a daily, but you get the benefits of camber adjustment on top of the reduced deflection on the thrust arm.

I have been running -3/-2 for a while and it has a great balance. Toe you can leave stock, or start getting closer to neutral on the front end. For a more streetable alignment -2/-1.5~ with stock toe raises the limit quite a lot without going too crazy.

damn, everyone on the forum suggest the monoballs, the options are either VAC monoball or millway monoball. i guess i m probably going to get the VAC monoball because it's already pressed in, and just simple removing and install.

the monoball itself is cheaper by its own, but looking at 7 years old age, changing the arm is not a bad idea, i would think... so it can go another 7 years.

how about rear suspension? no need to refresh them?

Millway will actually sell you a new set of arms with these pressed in as well:

As for the rear suspension, it typically gets less wear than the front. I am still on stock hardware for the most part on my 2012 and it's still tight and holds alignment well. You could replace the struts, they are pretty easy and inexpensive.
