New to Seattle
Hi all, just moved to Seattle from the Midwest and service is due in the next month or two. Any recommendations between Seattle BMW or Bellevue BMW? Also will be looking at getting some suspension work done so any Indy shop recommendations would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks.

I have used Strictly BMW near Bellevue BMW for 20+ years. I've also used Eastside Bavarian in Issaquah when I lived there. Don't know which dealer is better - I only use Bellevue. They do have a good diesel tech. |

Welcome to Seattle.
I have used Seattle for warranty work and have had good luck with them. Ask for SA Nathaniel Morrisette. I live South so I don’t have experience with Bellevue, tried Tacoma and had bad customer service. |

I have used Strictly BMW for many many years, Eastside Bavarian when I worked within walking distance.
I am now using Southlake European in Renton (as they are closer and much to my glee, run by my two favorite Ex Strictly service managers) GREAT shop, owners and staff are legit, and where I take all 3 BMWs in my family for work I cannot do myself.

I'm in Portland so I've never gone to a WA dealer for service, but fwiw I bought my car from BMW of Bellevue. In general it was a decent experience (they had the car I was looking for at a negotiated good price), but I was let down by their lack of customer appreciation. When I bought my E90 in Portland they gave me a car-care package with car wash and mitt, interior cleaner/conditioner, wheel cleaner and brush, two keychains, and a data cable for syncing to the radio, and this was a one year old car. Bellevue gave me my car and nothing more, and this was a new car. I know a dealer doesn't owe you anything beyond what you negotiate, but I feel a premium brand should show customers some appreciation with a little brand swag. Honestly, this simple thing made me decide that my wife's car will be purchased at BMW Portland where I bought my E90 and where I've always gone for service and been treated great. If I was in your area, I'd probably check out Seattle to see if they showed more appreciation for their customers.

Thread hijack:
Anyone have any recommendations for TC replacement? I've called several BMW independent shops around me and they either demand an inspection service beforehand or flat out refuse to do it. So far Broadstroke BMW is the one that has been the nicest, but they do request an inspection beforehand (400$), dont know how imperative it is as I did not push the issue and according to the the receptionist they havent done any TC work on N20\N26's (possibly more labor cost then would be expected). I'm way north of Seattle (Arlington), but for the right garage i'd be willing to drive down. |
