Well, if they aren't going to offer it in 335, I'll be going for the 5 Series. Not to say that I'm not a little happy about "needing" to buy the 550.

I don't know why I even read the comments on these main threads anymore, they just piss me off. The touring looks gorgeous, and I would take a 330d home easily. Awesome.

What the hxll are you talking about? Everyone LOVE's wagons, they just don't like the word "wagon". But if you take a "wagon", give it a 4-6" lift and bigger tires, its now called an "SUV" or "SAV" or "Crossover" or whatever. IMHO, its STILL a WAGON (4 doors, hatch, long, etc) but everyone equates "wagon" with "family truckster".

I love this F31 (and the F11 for that matter) and its FINALLY in proportion and not an after thought model. Can't wait to order a 335d, hopefully, or better yet, an M3 F31! Its different enough for me as the "sedan" style is getting way too old. I'll like the term "shooting brake" better.

Traditionally, a shooting brake has two doors and the hatch. Who cares what anyone calls it? Driving dynamics of a 3-series married to the cargo capacity of a small SUV is perfect.

I like the term "Touring" but I'll call it a "wagon" with pride!

There is nothing wrong with "wagon" or "touring". I think in Europe there is nothing wrong with "touring/wagon" reputation. I think it is actually better than SUV's. I might be biased as I was waiting with one with xDrive and was quite pissed when I found out that there will be no xDrive for F31 until next year. So I almost went with F30 xDrive (because of snow and lack of road maintenance during winter - at least where I live). Then I looked at my bike and wondered where I should put it in sedan and then I tried to picture strapping my windsurfing gear to sedan. I also liked the look of F31 more than F30 (at least on pics). Finally decided to go with F31 MW Luxury Line with some gizmos. I decided to gamble a bit and even ordered Individual leather (Kashmere Beige / Black).

That sounds great. I don't think we can order an F31 in the States yet....can we???? It's not supposed to be available here until Spring of 2013

Cant wait to see pictures of your car when you get it!

No orders yet for F31 in the U.S. My dealer says November/December time frame to order I don't think they have set all the colors/options for the U.S. yet much less the pricing.
