You need to post up a part number, looking at Powerstops site Dynamic Friction isn't showing up for me. Typically Rock Auto is not a place I would go for brake pads for a track day. I would go to Bimmerworld or Maybe Turner/ECS Tuning.
A lot depends on how hard you are driving the car as well and your skill level. Stock pads on a novice is fine. |

powerstop are good to go and cheap. the pst pads are more than capable for most drivers. for me better stopping than pfc 08s and ds2500, not as good as hawk dtc60 or 70s but at less than 200 for all for corners you cant beat them and i daily them. you read the reviews on the m3 forums so that should tell you something. also read up on the corvette forums, they are well liked.

Do you wNt pads strictly for track or dual?
Dual are compromise. Some work well some don't. On my E90 N52 they work well bcs. well, I pack 230hp. You can start dual pad and see how it goes. PowerStop only makes "TrackDay" pad which is dual pad. Probably better dual pads are EBC YellowStuff, HAWK HP+, Ferodo DS2500. If you have issues with these you need dedicated track pad: Pagid RSL, Hawk DTC, PFC etc. |
