2013 BMW 335i Windshield Replacement

Hey guys,

Anyone know of a good certified BMW repair shop in the bay area to do a windshield replacement? I have a HUD and rain sensors on the car. Also, how much should this typically cost? One dealership quoted me $1900 but I think that's way too high.

Thanks in advance!

$1900 is WAY WAY to high. I had mine replaced with rain senors, hud, and the front camera thingy for much less.

Right now there is only BMW glass available (and i would recommend it anyway), but try to shop around. I got mine done at my detailer and i paid 1,275.00 which included the $300 dollar detail.

X2 on checking with insurance. I had mine replaced before for free from Allstate.

Glass is $350.00.

Where is the additional $1,550.00 going? Am I missing something?

What are you saying to the insurance to get it covered? Also, for those of you who replaced the windshield, is it the same? or there is more noise?

I've had one windshield replaced on another car and I don't think the replacement was as good as the oem.

I had mine replaced through Safe-lite, mine is 2012 335i with HUD, HBA and rain sensor l. The glass itself cost close to $600, labor is another $300. You should be only paying no more than $1000.
Safe lite come to my garage and do it right in front me , the whole process take about 2hrs. Make sure you request OEM winshield when they order your glasses.
