Looks the same as this car: http://reviews.carreview.com/tag/coupe (scroll down) so unless the OP's car is the very same car, it's not the only one with it. Looks like a relay or two for something suspiciously aftermarket looking. Got any closeup photos?

I would have never buy a car with a dirty engine like that, just from how dirty the engine is- would make me think how good the owner really care of the car. Hey that's just me to each it's own.
