FS: Smart Opener kick-to open sensors and ECU
For sale is a kit of BMW smart opener. They include: -Proximity/presence sensor -kick motion sensor -Smart opener control module I bought these for my previous cars but never got to install them. Both are in great condition with all connectors and tabs intact. Price is $125 including shipping anywhere in continental USA. |

Do you have to modify the bumper in any way to install this? Or is it already ready for this from the factory? it appears one of the wires is just a pigtail, is there splicing involved? What about coding? |

Yes, still have it. Not sure if your car will have from factory the clips where the sensors go, but they can easily be attached with double-sided tape or with zip ties. There are two wires that need to go to your CAS module and then you need to enable the smart opener function via coding... That's how it work for the 5 and 6 series. Not sure if there is any difference for a 3.
