First service bucks 4 series
Hi guys
Would appreciate some replies I have the 3 year service pack I believe it's 3 years or 36000 miles whichever is first ?? I think ... Based near Wycombe and Slough . Anyone recommend a BMW dealer for the first service? Nearby ?? I am about 1300 miles away so will reach that around mid to late December ... I should book around now I guess ... Do I have to book it before the service is due or will there be any issue booking In January ref the pack .guessing it will not void the sevice pack . As it's My first service and my 4 is a LCI I want to avoid the software changing of my diesel Which apparently makes fuel economy worse. Anyone tell the dealer you don't want it and they didn't chnage it ? Finally Im not sure how long they are going to be be good to get a courtesy car ... |

I’ve used Barons in Farnborough for servicing, no problems with them, I’ve had to use Cooper in Reading for warranty work & after that experience I’d never set foot in that place again.

Personally i would do it as soon as possible if you have the service pack.
My car is on 17.5k miles after 13 months and over 4k miles until its first service, so doubt i’ll get a second service at this rate. |

I’ve bought cars from Maidenhead before, but had middling experiences with high Wycombe I tend to buy and service through barons Farnborough too - they were close to work until a few years ago. Might be looking for something closer though for servicing near windsor so I’ll keep an eye on on this thread |

No reflection of their service department levels though. |
