This car popped up for sale local to me and I'm going to take a look at it soon. Asking price is $21k. It has the following:

-2014 335i Xdrive with a 6 speed
-Gray on black
-129k miles
-Cold Weather package
-M Sport package
-Lighting package
-Navigation

Through pictures it looks to be in pretty good shape. Carfax shows one minor accident. Maintenance history is practically non existent. Shows 3 owners but 3rd owner of the used car dealer that's selling it now.

I know usually stuff starts going wrong close to the 100k mile range. Is it safe to assume if there's no SES lights that most of the big items have been taken care of?

Also I currently own a 2013 335i e92 with an N55. It's in pretty mint shape with only 74k miles. White on red, M Sport, cold weather, etc. I will most likely sell my car after purchasing this F30 but looking at the market, I'm pretty sure I would only be able to get around $18k for mine if I'm lucky.

Are F30 chassis cars more expensive in general? Or is this car priced way too high for what it is?

Seems way overpriced for that high of mileage. Check the kbb to give you an idea of whether it's even in the ballpark of a fair price.

Wow it seems to be in very good shape for the year and miles. My 2015 seats look horrible. It does seem to be overpriced. I wouldn't buy a used car with that kind of miles especially a BMW.

Why would you go from an N55 you know is in good condition to a used unknown N55 one model year up? I wouldn't do it.

The issue is I need a car with 4 doors. If mine were a sedan I would be keeping it until it blows up

Shop around. It's over priced for the mileage even if it's a manual. In comparison you can find the same car at $21k with 64k mileage..

It seems that there is at least a 10% premium on M sport cars compared to similar asking prices 6 months ago. I will think $17k is about what I’d want to pay for this one.
