So today while driving my car i heard that same noise i previously had when the car was leaking boost so i pull over to check. I noticed my meth bung bolt managed to fall of the chargepipe and i am now leaking boost. I coudnt find a replacement bolt either

You better hope to god that it didn't fall inside the pipe and its going to potentially get sucked into your VANOS.

These should not fall off..

Don't worry there is no way it could have fallen in. Most likely was loose and just gradually unscrewed it self and popped outwards.

Regardless of what brand it is, It should be a standard 1/8" NPT thread plug. Home Depot will have them in the plumbing section (brass fitting) if you are in a bind and need ASAP.

Look for a fastenal in your area. Even if it fell in more likely to fall towards the intercooler and just rattle around in there.

I recommend you use teflon tape on these as well.

I'm installing my FTP CP tomorrow. Should I remove it put Teflon on it and reinstall, or just tighten and recheck periodically?

Depends how much you trust their threads to be airtight... there's a reason you typically put teflon tape on NPT type threads, i.e., for air compressors and such. I would remove, teflon tape, and then install tight.

Makes perfect sense. I'll do the same.
