Bootmod3 Check Engine Light

I have had bm3 stage 1 flash for a few months. I VRSF chargepipe, intercooler and NGK plugs one step colder gapped to .022-.023. The power is nice but the car seemed kinda jerking so I decided to flash back to stock for a while. After flashing back to stock I have a check engine light on the speedo cluster. I am not in limp mode and do not show a drive train malfunction in the nav screen. Wondering if this is caused by the colder plugs. I had no codes when flashed with stage 1. Will try flashing stage 2 in a month or so when my downpipe arrives.

Read the code. Can't help if we don't know what it is.

Yeah man, you gotta read the code. Without knowing what it is, it could literally be anything and its highly unlikely it has anything to do with the flash anyway.

You still should scan for error codes if the light went away using the Diagnostics section of the bootmod3 app. There can be lots of error codes stored that don't illuminate the Check Engine Light. Once you read the hidden codes, you want to clear them and keep an eye on them to see if they keep popping up. Also, I would've left OEM gapped plugs in unless you go Stage 2. Even I am running Stage 2 ACN91 on OEM plugs with zero hesitation or jerking. PTF told me to only change to tighter gapped plugs if I have jerkiness at idle or hesitation at WOT.

I flashed back to stage 1 and no check engine light. I did the plugs based on Pro tuning freaks recommendation and my oem plugs had 47k miles. Car is running great. Doing the VRSF catted downpipe soon. Will run it on stage 1 for now.
