F30/F32 KW V3 Model (3522000D) + KW 3 Bolt Camber Plates

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 1,700.00

Item Interest
Up for sale is a set of KW V3. I bought this off another forum user in that reported only ~3,000 miles of use on their 330i. I was planning to do a coil spring conversion, but ended up going with some KW Clubsports. Also included are the rubber pieces you'd normally cut off your own strut.

KW Model/Part Number: 3522000D link:

According to KW, these coilovers will fit:
F30 320i, 328i, 330i RWD non EDC
F32 420i, 428i, 430i RWD non EDC

From experience they will fit any F30/F32 chassis. The model part number on the damper themselves are identical for all F30 vehicles. You can look through their manuals to see for yourself. The only difference will be spring rates. You can see the spring rates on the ones here are 100-200 (100 N/mm - 200 mm length) versus say something like the 340i which are 110-200 (110 N/mm - 200 length). From what I've seen, the difference in spring rates are only 10 N/mm heavier for I6 engines than their I4 counterpart. AWD/RWD makes no difference since the specs seem to be the same for spring rates.

Camber Plates
Also for sale is a set of KW camber plates that came off a set of 3 bolt KW 3-way Clubsport. These should fit F30s 2015 and earlier (please check your strut tower if its 3 vs 5). These currently do not fit onto the KW V3s as the strut nut on the camber plates have a larger diameter than the V3 coilovers. You'd need to get a machine shop to make you 2 new strut nuts which should be pretty cheap.

If you plan to do a coil spring conversion, you can buy the camber plate and the coilovers, get 2 nuts machined and buy some 60 mm coil springs in the front and back. This was my original plan, but the clubsports were at a price I couldn't refused.

Coilovers alone:$1600 + shipping
Camber plates alone: $250 + shipping
Coilovers + Camber plates $1700 + shipping
