F30 Activehybrid 3 brake upgrade
So I own a 2013 AH3 with original brakes. I don't like the brakes. And I have to replace them in the next 2 weeks so the best moment for upgrading.
I found the M sport/Performance Brembo disks on ebay. Will they fit my car? Can i leave the rear brakes stock for now? How is Brembo quality compared to OEM performance disks? https://m.ebay.de/itm/2x-Bremsscheib...kAAOSw-b9aqkbC |

Does your car currently have 370mm discs? If not then you’ll also have to change the calipers as far as I know.

Nah, I got the blue calipers and discs from an F80, just a straight swap.

M Perf Brakes going on my AH3 soon
I am having my M Perf Brakes put on in a couple weeks (Red BBK on BSM car), they are also installing the Eibach springs to get it a little lower and hopefully stiffer. I'm hoping to get some better handling and braking to match the HP and Torque, love the car, very fun to drive, but I have the Luxury Line version and the suspension is way too soft and floaty.
I may end up with sway bars but going to start with the springs since they are much cheaper and my shop still doesn't believe the 335i bars fit my AH3. Labor on the bars will be close to $1k! |
