340i single brake squeaking

I'm getting some brake squeak from my front passenger side brake when gradually coming to a stop, approximately 15mph to 0. I havent actually pulled the tire off to look at it, but my front pad sensor is reporting 10k mileage life remaining (39k miles on the car). I thought maybe it was brake dust buildup so I've got in there with my power washer a few times but the noise remains. Anyone have similar issues or suggestions for things to try/check?

What brakes does your car have? M Sport? M Performance? Standard?

Your sensor only reports when it's been tripped, and at that point you've got less than 1k miles left. Also, there are eight pads and only two sensors, so you could have six pads on their last legs and not know it. The iDrive mileage to the next pad change is a guess, it has no way of knowing the actual pad thickness. The only way to be sure of remaining pad life is to inspect them all, preferably yearly. 90% of squeals are caused by the pads/carriers being in need of lubrication.

The computer does not beat looking at the issue and diagnosing it yourself. Check your pads.

Hey guys, didn't realize anyone had replied here after the first few days. I definitely do not have M Performance brakes, but my car is an M sport. Off hand I do not know the difference between standard or MSport brakes. My calipers are not painted if that is an indicator. I'll need to pop a wheel off and look at the pad where the noise is coming from. Being a bit of rookie with brakes, what is the general acceptable pad measurement before I need to replace?

How many miles on the car? I just replaced my pads and rotors all around at 57000 miles and the pads were totally worn down, almost to the material the pad itself is mated to. Car never gave me a brake light...

39k and some change. Purchased used (non CPO) from BMW about 3mos ago. I only hear the squeak from what sounds like front right wheel. It's not the nasty metal on metal scratching sound like a completely worn pad.
