Converting from a F32 W/O Msport to Msport front bumper
Hi I purchased a new 428i F32 two days ago without the M sport option (biggest regret so far ) and now that the deal is finalized, what are my options to converting the front bumper to a M sport front bumper?
Would I have to purchase the following item and install it? https://www.getbmwparts.com/parts/20...&siteid=214672 Also is there any front lips available for the non F32 M sport front bumper available? ( I searched and could not find any) Thanks. |

What about the skirts and rear bumper? Car will look horribly tacky with mismatch kits. What about your wheels? The stock wheels or even Sport Line won't look good either. Going aftermarket for wheels would help.

You paid for a BMW, don't skimp on non-OEM parts IMO. I did this once on my E46 and the fitment was a JOKE after a few months. The savings really isn't there when you consider you still will pay the same price to have it painted and installed.

I was actually gonna order the full kit from perpetual racing but I went into my local dealership and they told me they wkuld price match getbmwparts.com and I wouldn't have to pay for freight.
1600 plus 200 for shipping was the full replica kit and 2595 for full kit from getbmw. 800 extra for OEM and not have to worry about fitment issues is worth it to me. Just my .02 |

When you pay this much for JUST the bumper, you are going to already be paying more than half of the cost of the M Sport Package. Honestly might as well wait for your next car, as the M Sport Package includes many more options than just the front bumper. |

dont go oem, and save money.. theres no fitment issues... if you go with the right brand. painting and install , you are going to have to pay regardless if you get oem or not.
bmw canada quoted me $4000 for front and rear i got it done for $2500 saved over $1500 actually what i wouldve done is order the parts off of ikonmotorsports you can find his postings here http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=476 (sponsored seller) he sells bumpers and offers paint service for a cheap price ($250) so you just gotta worry about the install when you get the part pics below Last edited by grancoupef36; 06-05-2016 at 07:13 PM.. |

Normally I'd agree but the rep bumper market has become so good that they basically are just making the molds from OEM bumpers. Almost all of these aftermarket kits have perfect fitment, NOT THE DURASHIT, but polypropylene reps.

Still don't understand why you'd pay thousands on a vehicle instead of just ordering an M Sport variant, unless you ordered the vehicle and it was a purchase not a lease.

Either make the conversion to m sport or go about modding your sportline to make it unique. As great as the m sport looks, I can't justify spending a couple grand Just to have the car look like another m sport model.
If you do decide to do m sport, Selma is a great option. Plenty of people on the forums have used them and their fitment is pretty much spot on. |
