F33 4 Series Convertible Also Joins the Track Fun
BIMMERPOST NEWS F33 4 Series Convertible Also Joins the Track Fun The F32 4 Series coupe was spotted at the Nurburgring for the first time today, and not content to have the coupe model have all the fun, the F33 4 series convertible is also running at the Ring today. As previously covered, the convertible will likely be joined by the coupe and any rumored Gran Coupe model in being re-badged as a 4 Series. While this prototype remains heavily camouflaged, we recently spotted the F33 convertible top down for the first time, with its folding hardtop roof neatly folded away (images reposted below). If you notice, the front seats appear to be different in the track photos than the ones seen in the top-down pics. This prototype's front seats seem to have a sportier/bulkier and more premium design. As we theorized before, BMW may still be deciding between different seat designs, or perhaps we are looking at both the F33's standard seats and optional sports seats. The F33 will share the same engine and transmission options as the F32 coupe. This prototype appears to be a 435i model. I refuse to acknowledge that this is a 4-series. Warning to all thinking of upgrading their e92s and 3s- first one I see is getting torched!

as awesome as the greenhouse looks on the f32, is about how terrible it looks on this f33.

With the camo and all, it is a bit early to form opinions. However, 435i has a strange ring to it, and so does 235i.

So just to be clear, there will not be a 3 series coupe, it will just be a 428i or 435i ? And there will not be an m3 coupe, just an m4? If that's correct that's pretty lame.

I cant stand the patched in look of the Nav system, i drove a new 3 the other day and the Nav looks glued on. The name change to 4 series was completely unnecessary.....Too early to tell what the eexterior is gonna look like w/ so much camo still.
