Does anyone know what the sound part of the mppsk is? Is it the ASD or is it legit sound? I have mppsk installed and I 😍 the sound but I'm wondering how much is legit and how much is audio.

It is a full cat back exhaust system... open your windows it should be all real.

It is all real. Unplugging the ASD module makes no difference.

Yeah it's real and here is an easy way to prove it.
1. Find a pedestrian, preferrably in front of you and walking away from you.
2. Place car in Sport Driving Mode
3. Increase engine speed to 4000 rpm then quickly lift foot off throttle.
4. Watch pedestrians head spin. (works every time)

I'll second this procedure and add that it also works on chickens. Yes that's right I said chickens. Sending them running for cover is part of the joy of a brisk drive on a country road.

sounds legit to me. it is actually quietest with the doors closed and windows up. stand behind the car and have someone else rev it to convince yourself

Anyone with this on a 6MT found the 'launch control' feature (The MPPK for the N55 had a 'launch control' feature on 6MT, see

).

I last tried it right after the break-in period at around 1200 miles, and it wouldn't work for me, but it was also very cold out, so there may be a lock-out if the exterior temperature is too low, but it didn't work for me.
