Just finished upgrading my 430ix with the base(ment) brakes to the M Performance Brakes. As someone with extremely minimal experience with coding (I look at a step by step any time I want to use Bimmercode), could someone point me in the direction of a thorough walkthrough?

You cannot code it yourself with something like BimmerCode. It's a dealer application, I believe E-Sys. You need the brake bias coding for the Brembos. It may be S2NHA. It doesn't take long but the correct application is needed. Ask on local forums and call local BMW shops.

You can also try searching for remote coding shops, if you don't live close to a physical location. You would need a computer (and internet) and the needed cable (plus whatever the shop requires).
