There's no need to buy the CTEK equivalent of the BMW charger unless you have a lithium ion battery. You can get what you need for less than half the price. If I was to get one today it would be this. I'd put it under the hood, with the rings under the charging posts:

I see. I am more worried about the AGM battery since it's new technology

so is it OK to charge AGM battery with just any battery charger? like battery tender for example?

Thanks.

AGM batteries do require a compatible charger, but they've been around so long that most chargers sold today are AGM friendly, including the one I linked.

You need a charger for AGM batteries.

https://www.amazon.com/Keador-Automo...dp/B08971SH3K/

a similar one but different brand, i think this is manufactured by a white label company

should this be OK to charge AGM? i know the description says AGM....

is it OK to leave the charger on even after it's full?

You should have led with that. It will probably work OK, but at that price I don't see it lasting a lifetime.

yeah, i bought that because my other car battery is just a standard lead acid battery, a non AGM. so i am thinking of buying a new one just for the AGM if needed, but if not, i will just alternate its use every couple days
