Question Cleaning Tanzanite Blue Individual Paint

Since I've got my new car I'm trying to do my best to look after it properly and want to get as much information as I can to back things up that I do, I was just curious if there is anything special about cleaning a car with individual paint on it?

I know that doing some standard things to the frozen paints can ruin it so wanted to be absolutely safe before costing myself tons of money haha

I'm guessing all the usual cleaning techniques mentioned on these forums would be fine, any advice or tips for how to achieve the best clean is massively appreciated! Am thinking of taking the car to my friend who has/knows a good detailing service and maybe catch some tips there too

The usual - if you in to that type of thing - otherwise get it covered in a paintshield film. Suntek and others also self heal see www.paintshield.co.uk

I'll get the info from the last detailer who did my garage queen in a mo

Thanks btw, I intend to look into proper detailing soon and finding any that might be around my area that have a good rep, but yeah I am seriously interesting in anything that can protect the bonnet and front of the car without ruining its shine or looks

*puts his gun away* haha

Tanzanite Blue isn't matte is it? If not its just regular paint. You paid extra for it because it's just not a stock color offering.

Nah not matte, just regular I guess, wanted to make sure with all the apparent effort that goes into painting it :P
