Door sill plate

Is there any protection film that can be applied to the door sill to protect it from scuffs and scratches? Anyone using them care to chime in ?

I just clean and wax like the rest of the car. Seems to work for me.

That new 3M spray stuff may be helpful... essentially makes "like" a clear bra

I feel like Im the only one (and I probably am) who left the film protection on from factory. Honestly, I don't mind since theres blue trim/interior. Its not noticeable at all and nobody has every questioned me about it. Until it gets scratched or starts to peel, I'll take it off. For now, it stays on for preservation lol.

I don't have pics because I just threw my old door sill out but I'm really confident the previous owner left that blue shit on there and it left a terrible ugly residue on it. I couldn't get it off no matter what I tried since it's like a somewhat soft gel that it's stuck on. Resorted to buying a new one and it wasn't exactly cheap. Not sure how long it took to become as bad as it did but I would take it off soon if I were you. Just my two cents though.

That gel type finish seems to have held up pretty good on my car after the years on the other doors, maybe it's soft enough not to really scuff up? Who knows.
