No, I was able to choose the luxury line 335 Xdrive in Toronto, at the town and country. Didn't like the M-sport grill, but I hear as of 2015, you won't be able to get it in that spec anymore. Don't know why BMW is insisting M-sport grill on all 335s but I'm happy I was able to be one of the last ones to get the luxury line...

It's because it's a forced $2300 package and is part of their 'pricing strategy'.

Curious, where did you get it Opti-coated? I'm in Toronto and am looking to get this done. How do you like it? is it easier to keep clean? i.e. simple power wash will get dirt off?
also, how in the world are you getting 900km on a single tank of gas?? I'm lucky if I get 500km. I'm almost always in comfort mode. |

I loved the way car looked after he was done. Water just runs of the car and doesn't stay. Never have to wax the car for four to five years. Yes dirt comes off easier with a simple wash. If using the touch less car wash after, get the most basic one as you won't need anymore enhancement. As for the mileage, it was 50-50 Eco pro, comfort mode. Mostly highway and a bit of city. I must say I was diligent in braking the car properly. I was being gentle to see how much mileage I can extract from a tank of gas and was pleasantly surprised. This doesn't mean that I'll be watching the mileage all the time. Planning on pushing the engine to its limit soon...Launch control... |

Why did you get the 335 if youre going to drive it so slowly? In another thread You went on and on about how much better/faster 335 is than 328 and here you are talking about mileage. I'm confused. I can't imagine that Opti Coat will be on there in 1 year let alone 4-5. Looks good though.

Because of this, I can use Optimum no-rinse to wash it in 15min and the Optimum detailer for touchups as needed. Highly highly recommend getting it done! Check out the link in my sig for pics of my car w/opticoat.

Also, I still stand by my statement that I would take the 335 over 338 anytime. This doesn't mean that I don't respect 328s owners choice. It's just a personal preference. Take it at that... |

Just got my MG 328i coated and it looks great. It has a satiny shine to it that is a bit understated and looks great. Try topping it with Sonax Polymer Net Shield, it will look and bead even better (have to put it back on about twice a year though).

Optic oat looks great!!
Does the opti coat have to be professionally done? Or is there something else similar that we can self apply to get close results?
