M performance exhaust
I have a dual resonator delete and am looking at upgrading to either a MPE or just the MPE muffler. I noticed while looking around that there seems to be 2 version of the MPE? I see cars that came with MPPSK have a muffler with an embossed M performance logo. While the BMW M performance catalog shows me a polished stainless muffler with an etched M performance logo. Is there any difference between these 2 units?

AHCKTUALLY you CAN buy the MPPSK exhaust (with valves and all) seperate from the tune. Here is a link: https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...b3J5IFBhZ2U%3D
Now, whether or not it can actually be installed and function without the tune, IDK. I do know that a BM3 license comes with the MPPSK flash as a free OTS tune you can use, so I suppose it should be possible to buy just the muffler, install it, and then use BM3 to get your proper flash. |

That is partially true because it only applies to the N55 engines on the F30. The B58 340i (2016 - 2018 US models) does not have a valved MPE axleback exhaust. Only the MPPSK is valved as others have indicated.
