My 2015 N26 328i 1/4 mile times

I took the car to Famoso Raceway last night and got a couple runs in with a best time of 13.9 with a 2.058 60ft. Car is stock except a BMS stage-1 tune and a VRSF HD 5' FMIC.
I was hoping for a better time...What do you guys think? The air quality was terrible! It was still in the high 90's around 9:10pm when i ran my first run and ran a 14.2 with a 2.1 60ft. Later around 11:00pm the temp had dropped to around 85 and i ran the 13.9. I think the air was killing my times.

Here's my timeslip any thoughts?

I agree... the temps weren't helping your times. May have ran a couple tenths quicker if it was cooler.

Also - probably want to pick up an aftermarket charge pipe before yours explodes. If you want to stick with stock, I have a spare OEM available.

That blown Camaro create a wake as he blew by? 145? Sheesh. He left 4secs after you did lol.

Heat is a killer, NA or forced induction. 14.2 is what BMW publishes as stock so the heat was killing your mods I think.

That 60' is slow. Did you have TC off? Did you air the tires down a bit? Use Launch control?

I still haven't run my GC but I want to just for kicks. I'm expecting about the same...13.9-ish.....if I can run a 1/4 track and not some silly -ass 1/8th.

Rear tires aired down to 23psi, DSC button depressed for 5 seconds disabling it, Auto in sport mode, foot on brake rev engine to 2500rpms releasing once the light goes green.

Do you guys think its possible to get a sub 2 second 60ft on stock runflats?

On a well prepped track, engine not heat soaked, ...maybe a 1.98. You made a good point..the stock RFs weren't made for track use lol.

Not sure I'd air down to 23psi..that there is drag radial air pressure. Did you play with the air pressure? Maybe 26psi? Guessing..as I've never run a RF at the track...

I was only able to run the car twice and i didn't air them to any other psi. I used to race a 95 Z28 Camaro at the same track with 245 street tires on a hundred shot and low 20's was the sweet spot for that car so that's where i got my #'s from. I was actually really surprised it even cut a low 2 sec 60ft.
