2018 CPO 340i Xdrive
I'm looking at a 2018 CPO 340i Xdrive with about 500 miles (5 hundred).
Sport line Principal options are leather seats, heated steering wheel and rear seats. MSRP new, the car was $56400 + dest. So, $57400. Dealer is asking $49 for it. Eastern Mass. Do people think that's a reasonable price? If no, how much lower? |

Nope. The build configurator defaults to Msport but you can choose sportline luxury and Shadowline. And the first 3 the same price in the 340, unlike the 330 where you pay extra for sport. And the Shadowline is more expensive all around. Because, you know, black trim costs more than satin chrome!

The shadowline isn't more expensive if you get any of the camera options that has park distance control. The shadowline includes PDC but other styles require it to be added separately.

Were you able to learn why the vehicle is sold a CPO? Was it used as a service loaner or BMW program vehicle (driven by an executive)?

Ive had luck just telling dealers the price I want to pay vs offering less and hoping for a meet in the middle. Offer them whatever you want to pay. I'd say 47k is fair, 12% is what you can get from a competitive dealer new, so this one should in theory be a bit more off that.
