NBT2 VO coding locked

Hi all,
Someone knows how to resolve the VO coding locked HU_NBT2 ?

I deleted all FSC, then flashed successfully the HU to ID5, but the last step for CAFD deploy fails. I injected 170 FSC that was accepted. Then tried to VO code the HU without success.

I can FDL the HU without problem, but VO coding is blocked.
The HU is not in component protection (No error about that in FS_Lesen)

I do coding in the bench with CAN Bridge and ZGW2.
The HU was flashed with its factory VO & VIN. 170 FSC is also accepted with the factory VIN, and the ZGW is flashed with the same VIN and implements factory FA of the HU.

What's on the label of this HU_NBT2? Does the serial number start with a B211 or B143?

You can't flash a B143 sample to to ID5. It will not work with VO coding otherwise. You can FDL code all the parameters but it will be tedious.

it's a B240 HU
Now, even if we try to FDL parameters, very hard (was impossible for me) to making work the CID (No Signal).

There's likely something in your FA that doesn't agree with the HU. If it's a B240, it's likely from a G chassis vehicle and you'll have to use an FA of that type to flash it.

This usually happens when you use an FA that's not meant for the car or from a different region to try and code it. We can fix this but you would need to have the unit shipped to us so we can wipe the unit clean and reflash it on the bench.

I'm guessing this is a European unit that you have?

i had a problem with NBT EVO in flashing, it stayed 14 days in progress, has anyone had this problem before.
i tried again after this with a different system (Esys & Icom) but a fault in ethernet connection appeared.

Can anyone has an experience in this clarify this problem & what should i do ?
IS there any data or user manual for TAL Execution ?

@steve@codemybimmer
It looks like you’re attempting to flash the unit through UDS. Are you doing this directly in the car? If you don’t have OABR wired properly and attempt to flash the unit like this, it will take weeks.

Hello Steve,
I was flashing the unit in the car using an icom, what do you mean with OABR wired correctly ? or how should i do it. The OABR Ethernet is available inside the vehicle between the Gateway and the HU, What should i do ?

The Ethernet wires are on the quad lock for nbt but on the OABR in the evo so u hah to move the 4 wires from quad lock to OABR. At least that's how I have to do it in my f30.

Hello John,
I've got what you mean but it's not a retrofit, it's an original stock nbt evo in 2018 f30
