You check the adaptation values before flashing.

You check the adaptation values any time after flashing.

Makes sense?

Anyone try the Stage 1 just for the line pressure increase and torque limiters?

I was on stage 1 for a while after I serviced my transmission. I switched back to stage 2 but it's a great option.

I wasn't necessarily looking for quicker shifts, but at least to have the torque limits raised so the transmission isn't fighting itself during a shift and more of a comfortable daily ride. Does MHD require you to check off a option if you have XHP flash?

Looks like I'll be trying the Stage 1 this week.

Yes. You should select "MT - Manual Transmission" in MHD.
Described in the MHD User Guide….

Interesting. I've read the user manual through the app and it mentioned nothing about that or XHP.

You are correct - it is in the xHP manual...:

Perfect thank you. I read that manual too, but I read both at the same time and fed too much in my brain I must of missed that part. Thank you glad I asked.

Just flashed to the Stage 1 without changing any of the settings. Looking forward to the first drive tomorrow morning. I'll also be installing the MHD flex fuel kit tomorrow with the Dorch Stage 2 HPFP

Did you notice a big difference from stage 1 and stage 2?

Wow. So I've been running my 8 speed AT with mhd and xhp for 5 days now.

I need to reflash mhd and select the manual transmission before i reflash?

This seems so counter intuitive I have to question it.

***EDIT***

I see that the xhp setting is there in mhd.

Glad I caught this now. My car had xhp prior to mhd (I flashed it the day before I tuned the car)

Glad I woke up at 3am and decided to browse this thread. Reflashed mhd with MT/xhp setting.

Let's see how it feels on the commute in a couple of hours.

Night night zzzzz

Hi guys,

I just started reading this thread because I test drive a friend's F30 with xHP flashed and loved it.

I'm on budget constraint right now and I am just wondering what do you get when you buy just the flash license and "NOT" the map pack.

Thanks in Advance.

You get fk all twice.

You get the authority to flash but nothing TO flash.

In a nut shell.

Yes. But you should not, for no reason.
