VRSF Charge Pipe

Has anyone tried out the VRSF Charge Pipe for the F30 N55? I'm in the market for a charge pipe and this looks to be at a better price than ER. Any fitment or quality concerns?

I'm running one. The machined edges for the TMAP boss is so sharp that it will shred the o-ring as are the inside edges where CP mounts to the throttle body...be careful with your o-rings.

Is it possible to sand it down so that the o-rings aren't damaged?

On the edge of the TMAP boss, yes. I wouldn't do any sanding on the machined areas where the CP attaches to the throttle body.

If you're careful and use a bit of lube the o-ring will be fine

I second that...when I installed my CP, it was very difficult to get onto the throttle body and FMIC because the O-rings help keep a good seal. After applying a very light coat of lithium grease, the CP slide on without any hitch.

You'll also notice that the CP is "loose" when it's placed on the throttle body. According to directions, this allows for the expansion of the metal since you're no longer using the weak, plastic OEM CP.

Follow the guide that ER puts out. In my experience, it's pretty much, spot on!

Sometimes a little cleaning of the TB with a scotch brite and a dab of oil helps.

I'm running one on my car and have been for the last few thousand miles. No issues with it after I installed it. It did separate on me one time when I switched to map 5 but I just retightened the clamps and it has been good since.
