Topcoat F11 or other paint sealer

Has anyone seen the commercials for this or a similar product? It seems to be too good to be true. I'm looking for a good wax to keep the car cleaner longer.

For that price I expect it to wash the car for me every time it gets dirty. Did you read the reviews? Not exactly glowing.
I use this:https://www.amazon.com/Jescar-Power-...e%2C179&sr=1-6

I apply it in the spring and fall. A quart will last you at least three years.

Yes I did see the reviews and the infomercial made it sound too good to be true. Thank you for the link to the other product. I will check it out.

Your talking over my head here. I'm going to see if I can find a detailer in my area. I'm just too lazy to do this kind of work.

I have topcoat and love/hate it. On lighter cars it looks and works great, but on darker or metallic cars it is very streaky, and difficult to get the streaks away. However, it works great on plastics and wheels. I also use it on my motorcycles with plastics and it works great there.

I also have Mazerna Power lock, and to me it's more of a wax/sealant. The smooth finish doesn't last as long as I would like.

I have on order some bead maker, and will report once I try it.

So today I did both the brilliant shine and sonax polymer netshield.

what a process. Glad I had brand new micro fiber towels from Chem guys. That stuff does not go on easy, but the car looks great for being 6 yrs old. thanks again for the tip!

The process is a bit tricky, but you’ll be happy with the results. Your car looks amazing. Enjoy the beading

Cool!

Do you recommend dr paint chip? I have some tiny chips on bumper and front of hood. Also what's best for swirl marks without spending tons?

I would say with any product in the same line as Dr.Paint Chip don't expect miracles. It's more of at a distance your whole front end will look very clean, but the closer you get it obviously will become more noticeable. Might be an OCD thing to a degree.

Do you already have DA and other tools for paint correction? Have a coating in mind?

I don't recommend Dr. Colorchip at all. In my experience their paint never matches. I've used it on both my car (white) and my wife's car (black) and the white they sent me was too gray, and the black was too light...dark gray. I even told them the white they sent me doesn't match, and they mixed up another bottle and sent it for free, but it didn't match either.

You'd be better off using a similar technique but with BMWs own touch up paint, and a product called Langka Blob Eliminator http://www.langka.com/

That way, you're more likely to get a good paint match and you can control how much excess paint you take off.

Just wondering if something like Griot's Garage Best of Show Detailer would work well with Netshield.

I am about to buy the Netshield but already have a few bottle's of Griot's Show detailer which is poly based.

I would say as long as the base is netshield then the mothers on top
Should be no problem. I would not be surprised if even the mothers by itself gave good protection. It’ll serve as a good topper I’m sure until you run out and can experiment with others.

Ended up purchasing the Meguiars Fast Finish, saw a few reviews of it producing similar results to the Net shield

https://www.meguiars.com.au/fastfinish/

Have you had any experience with the fast finish?

I was using Fast Finish as my maintenance sealant until the discontinued it. Super easy and lasts a good while. Turtle Wax Seal and Shine for the win though. I use Technicians Choice Ceramic Detail Spray for my maintenance sealant. It's super slick and lasts a smidge less than Seal and Shine as far as durability but I can buy it by the gallon for $30.
