Thank you so much for assisting me alohasurftoad! I pulled the trigger for a pair for these haha.. Now to find tires... I found someone selling 225/40/19 front and 255/35/19 rear. Is that okay? I got a -0.23%. But the 235 - 265 probably better looking right? hahas

I realized its quite hard to find runflats that are 235 / 265. Got any recommendations? Last edited by lazyb0ne; 07-02-2019 at 10:23 PM.. |

since 275 sits squarely on 10", putting a 255 on 10" will be stretching 20mm other sizes combinations that will work with x-drive are: 245/35+285/30, 245/35+275/30, 255/35+265/35. while 245/40+275/35 is compatible for x-drive, +29 offset and 26.7" front tire diameter may cause the outer shoulder to contact the fenderwell liner during full lock and/or compressed suspension turns, so i don't recommend it for 437M offsets. |

Hey guys .... been a while since I have been on here (since my E90 days).
Has any one ran the M3 reps on a 330 x-drive with H&R Sport Springs? Looking at this set up from my wife. My guess is I would need to get (4) of the fronts and keep it square. |

Thought about going back to staggered with either 255s or 265s in the rear, but I like being able to rotate my tires and balanced dynamics is more important to me than aesthetics or just straight line speed.

Not at all. The fronts were definitely rubbing with the 255/35/19s. Haven't had a single issue since going down to 245/35/19s.

It's just one of many CF trunk lip spoilers off amazon.

Here's my setup, OEM 437m with Conti DWS06 tires, 255/35/19 in the front and 265/35/19 in the rear. Springs are Eibach Prokit with OEM F8x bump stops.
Major shoutouts to alohasurftoad for the countless of PMs that I have went through with him to go over tires spec for my xDrive with these wheels. I learned so much about the transfer case and diameter of tires from this man. Another shoutout goes to FaRKle! for talking to me about bumpstops and spring rates etc. After playing around with cars and suspensions for 15 years or so I never thought bump stops were important. Without these 2 guys I would've probably made major mistakes that would have been very costly! There has been no issues so far, no rubbing on full lock turns going forward or in reverse. I did rub one time on stock suspension going straight over a speed bump, but if I go on an angle, theres no problems. The ride is very close to what percychow describes in his thread. This turned out to be exactly what I was looking for and I felt like I owe it to this thread and to the members I mentioned above to post my pic. Sorry for the dirty car, I need a detail badly! |

Any reason why you didn't recommend 235/35/19+275/30/19? Michelin p4s - for xdrive f32 coupe - car is lowered on dinan springs and bumpstops Last edited by gx5_027; 07-29-2019 at 08:14 PM.. Reason: edit |

Although both front and rear diameters are equal, both are 25.5". Smaller diameter, shorter sidewall equals worse ride, impact protection, increased speedo/odometer error. it'll look better if you're slammed. So, that's my reason for not recommending. It will work, if you don't mind what i consider cons, though.

Is it much though? I don't mind about impact protection - mainly aesthetics and ride And to recap, with my mods, you would suggest 235/40+265/35 |

my purely subjective viewpoint is 235/35-275/30 will look better if the car is lowered to where the fenderwell lip is right at or just a tick higher than top of the tires. i'm not sure where the dinan drop would be, though. i understand if you like that lower profiled look on the tire. 235/40-265/35 is my favorite size combo for x-drives with 19's but the selection of brands/models/categories is limited. |
