M performance rear diffuser & kick feature
Can anyone help out and confirm if the M performance rear diffuser will affect the auto trunk release kick feature. I know that some f80 owners are complaining the sensors will be blocked after installing the M performance cf rear diffuser but no info that I can find from F30 owners. Hope someone can chime in to confirm, thanks.

I installed an M-Performance diffuser on my 2014 335 and the kick feature works perfectly.

Lots of people just don't know how to use the kick feature properly. The action of bringing your foot back is what triggers it. Not left to right, or just going in.

Yes you actually do have to use the kick motion in order to get it open successfully and I find it very handy when I’m holding multiple bags of groceries, therefore I really don’t want to sacrifice this feature. Now that I have confirmation from you guys, I’m on my way to order the m performance diffuser, thanks all.
