BMW Rolls Royce chime issue.

Just started coding for the first time a few days ago. Everything has gone great and worked except when I tried to code in the Rolls Royce warning sound it doesn't work it just seems to disable the gong. I tried the BMWi chime and that worked but I was wondering if anyone has had the same issue with the Rolls Royce one. I'm using BimmerCode by the way and also I know it's not really necessary just curious. Thanks!

No issues on a 2014, been using it for over a year. It's way more subtle than the OEM chime.

Ya that's what I've heard so I wanted to test it out. Just super strange that the others work but not that one. Maybe its disabled in the newer years I have a 2016?

Have it coded in my 2015 - works fine

You need a professional unit for RR chime. Business Navigation won't be able to give the chime.

What is the professional unit? I have tech package, nav, comm box etc. but I don’t see the Rolls Royce Chime as an option.

ROUTE navigation is not supported.

You can use Bmw I or Mini sounds, Rolls Royce won’t work on your system if you have business.

Hm so im 90% sure I have the pro navi. I have the 8.8" display. 3d maps, split screen capability. etc.

But within bimmercode the rolls royce warning chime is not avail. The rolls royce startup animation is avail just not the sounds.

I know this is trivial I am just trying to figure out what im working with.
