19x8.5 M5 reps w/ 245/35 fronts & 255/35 rears

I have a 328i xdrive & was offered a used set of wheels/tires. All four wheels are 19x8.5 et 35. Fronts have 245/35s mounted and rears have 255/35s. Based on my research, there is a 1.05% diameter difference, which might not play nice with xdrive/dtc.

Need help deciding if I should give this setup a try OR swap out 2 tires. I would try a complete square setup were all four tires will be either 245/35 19s or 255/35 19s Any advice or suggestions are appreciated as always.

with 245/35/19 & 255/35/19, using www.tiresize.com comparison calculator it comes out to 0.8%, so it should be okay for x-drive. i'd try it out.

note: sizes of different brands and models vary

The previous owner had a f30 335i xdrive. He claimed he had no issues. Based on the calculator in your post, the diameter difference is indeed below 1.0%, but a few other calculators I tried calculated a 1.06 difference. So Im kinda stuck at this point as to what to put faith in.

FWIW 've seen xdrive peeps on here with 1.2%. I'd just do 255/35/19 square then move on to next project.

Thats what I was thinking. Just wasn't sure if Id run into any rubbing issues with 255/35 up front. Ill give it a try, and if I have issues, Ill just go 225/40/19 up front. Thanks.
