Which charge pipe to get - VSFR or EW?
Hello,
Total noob here about to start modding my 435 I've already gotten the Dinan exhaust, and I was going to go full Dinan until I read there are way better options... i have to be careful though becuase I have warranty until 12/2020 I want to start out by getting a charge pipe and BM3. Then slowly adding more pieces. I was looking at chargepipe prices on x-ph and noticed that the EW pipe is considerably more expensive than the VSFR pipe. I also read there shouldn't be any performance differences between any aftermarket pipes. Which should I go with? What am I getting with the increased price on the EW pipe? Thanks in advance |

As soon as you install BM3... your warranty is void.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way: All hollow pipes are hollow pipes. Period. You want to make sure it is going to fit properly! There are more choices than the two you listed. Keep searching and reading reviews. The answer is out there! |

it's true, for charge pipes, no performance difference, but between your two choices, i'd get ER as it's much higher quality. another brand to consider is FTP Motorsport out of Taiwan. they make products for F3/4 as well as other series. I have it myself on my N20. Last edited by alohasurftoad; 02-19-2019 at 02:28 PM.. |

WOW that is so embarrassing that I posted in the wrong forum!
must have been lack of sleep... got caught reading all this stuff that I could do to my car, and I posted in the wrong forum.... awesome way to introduce myself!! Thanks for the response, and I will post in the CORRECT forum this time... and I know BM3 voids the warranty so I will just remove it before going to the dealership |

If you're not 100% ready to void your warranty I would shy away from a flash tune and maybe stick to a piggyback? Those can be removed cleanly if I'm not mistaken. |

Thanks for the warranty advice guys.
If both JB4 and BM3 can be detected in the event of an expensive warranty claim, I think I should just go with the best one if I was to get a tune. From the reading I've done, that seems to be BM3. Last edited by the_experiment; 02-27-2019 at 01:34 PM.. |
