These are the exact ones I purchased:

BROVIEW S7 HB2 H4 LED Headlight Bulbs Conversion Kit

I needed retainer clips for the low beams as well.

TOMALL H7 LED Headlight Bulb Retainers

I used double sided automotive tape to secure the LED drivers inside the headlights.

If you're going to use these in the high beams you'll have to do it before you install the lights into the car, and it's a major pain in the butt to get the spring clip around the LED heatsinks, but it can be done.

The LED kit seems not to care about polarity, but I did test the lights after they were installed before handing everything off to the body shop.

Maybe this could help, just give it a try

Just installed the LED low beams today.

I went with the Cougar Motor kit on amazon.

What a world of difference!

The kit fits perfectly in the housing and is much brighter than the halogens. Not to mention the price is great. I’m just mad that I didn’t opt to do it before installing but it’s really simple once you have the front wheels off.

I’ll post more pics when it’s dark, I could use some advice on what to do about my beam pattern. I can’t seem to get it right.

I had been meaning to comment and see if you had gotten these installed. How do you like them so far for night driving? I love that they match the LED corona rings perfectly, however I'm not too impressed with the visibility at night. I still need to do a bit of tweaking with the aiming, so I'm hoping once I get it right they will work better, but I'm not sure. Then again, I think I'm realizing that I have bad night vision, so that could be to blame as well.

Hello guys,

I'm thinking to buy DEPO headlights for my BMW from a local store (Est Europe). I've tried to read all the posts from this thread but I've stopped to page 40 and I have some questions for you:
1. Can somebody tell me how do I recognize if there are original Depo lights and not a chinese copy (see alibaba.com) ?
2. I saw there were some issues with DRL on passenger side. I know there is a fix on led module. To recognize the fix version of Depo lights I should see Rev 3.3 on led module (

)
Are there any other issues with these headlights ? Can somebody make me a summary with all the issues you have encountered ?
3. As I understood from here, Depo headlights don't have height regulating motors. See this post (https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=641) Has anybody tired to fix this issues ?

Thank you in advance

Has anyone had issues installing the Morimoto HID H7B bulbs in the DEPO lights? I finished installing mine today and the beam isnt even, rather it is curved.

Keis Motorsports has them I believe. I came across their video online of the install and emailed Brian. He recommended not installing LED or HID To
Prevent issues down the road. Still haven’t pulled the plug yet.

Ya sadly I have run into issues with getting the HIDs to sit properly and the beam looks terrible. I have tried about every HID light bulb and H7 adapter. I am trying LEDs today and if that doesnt work I am retrofitting OEM Factory HID Adaptive lights instead.

I took my car into a garage to get the headlights aligned after fitting depos and HID kit. The mechanic turned the bulb within the headlight to set the lights and the difference is amazing. I thought i was stuck with the batman beam pattern but i have a nice clean cutoff line now

Got mine installed last week in combination with the H7 Diamond Vision bulbs 5000K !!
I added the sportgrill, LCI LED fog lights and sportline whiskers too..

The only thing that bothers me with the depo lights is that the light switch does not have the position 0 anymore.. You will not be able to turn off all lights when ignition/power of the car is on. Can I solve this?

Hey,

Sorry to bump such an old post but I couldn't resist. I've been waiting for the DEPO lights to restock on USR or Kies and I was wondering if you paid any duties for it (also located in Canada).

Thanks,

Im pretty sure that you can turn off drls in the idrive settings. If you do so, I think the halos will only come on when you have your low beams active, but they will be off when your light switch is positioned to 0.

Wow this looks good Frankly. Which LED Bulbs did you buy? How is the light output on the road and did you manage to squeeze everything in the housing of the headlights? Or do you have the CANbus module outside the headlights?

I will buy these headlights as well soon but I’m
still not sure if I will go for a 5000K xenon kit or for a LED set.

Thanks four your feedback Frankly. I think I will also go for LED as the cut off line looks good and it produces quite some light. The beam seems to be a bit focused Indeed but that’s most likely a habit of the projectors used in the Depo headlights.

Kelvin Rating for DEPO Rings and Lights

I had Depo Lights and HID 35W Ballasts professionally installed yesterday. Overall, look great. A couple questions to the group:

1) My halo rings appear pretty blue, especially more blue than the OEM pre-lci halos. Has anyone done a side by side?

2) Any idea what the right Kelvin rating for HID Bulb should be? Currently have a 5000k HID Bulb, but also wondering if that is too cool

3) The high beam has a cheap looking plastic cover to it, anyone know of any mods to make it look more like the OEM version?

Thanks!
