You're being really harsh, the girl doesn't need to be slightly clad. Just female. ish.

ETA - posted that and then read all of the follow ups

As someone the wrong side of 50, I find the idea of being referred to as a millennial snowflake quite amusing, although not really sure my use of the word 'twat' would fit in with their world view.

Maybe I'm just bored of the same old sterotypes being banded about in some John Bishop style attempt at 70s humour.

Or more likely, as my wife often reminds me, I'm just a miserable git.

Ironically, with over 30 years in IT, the one guy that I worked with who most closely fitted that description (and whose character bore a disturbingly similar resemblance to Maurice from The IT Crowd), turned out to be big into the BDSM scene. His wedding a few years back (to which I wasn't invited, probably for aforementioned reason above) apparently wouldn't have been out of place in some of the darker corners of PornHub

And i thought it was quite original...didnt even get on the subject of star trek or speaking klingon!

Just trying to bring a bit of humour - not deliberately trying to upset

The snowflake comment wasn't aimed at you (hence why I didn't quote you in that post) or anyone in particular, just a bit of a general comment on the current state of the forum.

I stay around because the members are mostly male, mostly a bit blokey, and come here to pass the time talking about mostly random stuff, having a laugh, taking the piss and occasionally having a bit of a rant, but some days lately it's been like walking into the dressing room at a drag queens' midsummer beauty pageant an hour and a half after the aircon's packed in. I was merely speculating as to why that might be.

In your case, I guessed from your username that you're a similar age to me, so I assumed it was lockdown related rather than millennial

Good to see you didn't over-react to the rant anyway

Now you are showing your age. Most of the guys I work with are too young for even most of the films. And whilst I'm no fan, anything with Jeri Ryan in is OK

No offence taken by the way
