Spark plugs, valve cover and gaskets, and windshield cowl. What a job! Here's to hoping I won't have to do that again for a good long time.

Finished my monoball control arm install. The passenger side was a real pain in the ass with that loom and cooler.

I'd say I feel the benefit. Turn in is not sharper but it's more precise, less vague and the feel through the wheel has improved a fair amount too.

This is the VAC monoball upper control arms.

I have a strut brace to go on tomorrow. We will see if that makes any difference in the handling

Assembled my front and rear new m sport bumpers,

Looks like it didn’t come with headlight washer caps and rear tow eye cover so I ordered those today,

In the meantime I need to decide to paint or wrap the whole car,

What do you think?

I'd say paint the bumpers to match the rest of the car. You can always wrap it later if you want to change colors.

Does anyone here have a set of CF side skirts on their f32?
Is the mod worth it in your opinion?

I have a set that was on my 430i but I haven't put them on my 440i yet. If you have aftermarket wheels and suspension and a carbon lip and diffuser I'd say it's worth it otherwise it doesn't look right.

Those look good. I am not original owner of 340i but did paint correction with Dr. Colorchip and got front and pieces under doors wrapped, glad I did. Paint is not a BMW strong point and chipped paint drives some of us Crazy.
You might consider protective mesh on inside of lower part of front bumper, as well as rock chip screen for radiator if you don’t already have.

Appreciate it.
All of what you said is what has kept me from proceeding. If I were dedicated to continued ownership, these would have been my next modifications.
We shall see

I gave it a while but finally decided to code the start stop out of my GC on start up.
Also 5 flashes for lane changing from 3.

You must have an old i-step, newer versions around 2020 made it impossible to code the 5 flash thing...

Was just about to write the same )
Or ask about the magic trick that would enable this, considered impossible on newer iSteps.

What is an I step?

Is it the software from bmw? Before i owned it it went to a main dealer for service every year. I only purchased it last year in October and its a 2016.

Yeah the Istep is the car software version. BMW only updates the software when a hardware change requires it or if they're trying to fix an issue (and usually don't know what the cause is).

Today the F31 didn't get any love - but I did drive it to get some new cleaning supplies

The wife's Kuga is gleaming so tomorrow is my turn 🤣

Installed the strut brace. Not sure if a jdm trinket or if I will feel a difference.

Did not use new top hat bolts.. gingerly torqued to 30nm and nothing went wrong.

Really locks into place as you torque things down. Im sure it's functional but not sure if worth it on the street.

I've replaced the driver air vent duct with smashed metalclips 😂 so that the whole trim is not flying around every time I open the door

I had the same unit on mine last year. Felt no difference at all (normal street driving). Took it off and sold it.

I did a couple test runs with mine on and off. Same brand as you have.
I noticed a difference at high velocity.
Mine has been on for the last 2+ years.
