Odd nagging issue, now a major problem...

So I have a 2014 335i Msport, only mod is a jb4 and some coding to get Bluetooth working.

The car is about 6 months out of warranty, and the first thing started happening about 4 months ago. Basically when the steering wheel was straight it would feel like would “stick” around dead center when moving very slowly...moving quickly was never noticeable. Basically it was never enough to bring it in.

Just this weekend however all of sudden when I brake hard the nose of the car dives down and to the left. It doesnt feel like it’s pulling to one side (seems to be braking evenly but just the nose is diving down). You can also feel the dive down and left or a shimmy when the engine starts. The last symptom I noticed when I was taking it into the dealer...around 70mph I hit a bump and the car started to wobble back and forth laterally almost as if I was losing control. This happened twice after hitting large bumps and I was able to replicate it at lower speeds (around 60mph) if I broke hard...

Never experienced anything like this before...any theories at all or experience from anyone else.

How's the condition of your tires? Psi/treadwear.

Have you checked your wheel lug bolts to make sure they're all torqued properly? Sounds kinda terrifying.

Bad/broken spring and/or strut on the front left? Do you have adaptive suspension?

Broken right rear control arm!

Looks like it was towed by the control arm at some point because it was bent in the middle....finally just snapped I guess

Is this a CPO vehicle?

Scary stuff. Glad it didn't result into an accident, even though it's not as a severe failure.

Was it towed while you were the owner? Or - while someone else owned the vehicle?
