Also, do you know what the difference is between the H7A bulbs and H7B?

Light output is way better than the Halogens. I'm still tweaking the alignment because I think the point of the cutoff is to have both cut outs match at a certain distance for incoming traffic. I'm setting that match point at about 50 yards. I parked in a level parking garage at one end and adjusted the beams so the notches were over each other on a wall about 50 yards away. It's not great, but they're not bad either, especially with the better output from the HID's. |

Ok stupid question. Just got my HID kit from TRS. How the heck do I get the adapter on the bulb?? It goes behind the bulb right? Do I need to slide the H7 socket out of the grommet to slide the bulb wires through the adapter?

I just got the Depo headlights and Morimoto H7 HID bulbs. Trying to swap out the halogen bulbs the new headlights came with, with the HID’s, before I install this weekend. But can’t figure out how to get the adapter on

I backed out the screws a little to make it easier. It's all trial and error. |

Edit: I wasn't thinking that the projector will flip the light
However if you look at the cutoff you will see a tiny imperfection and I think that is what is causing a lot of the grief with everyone and the cutoff line. I have some time before I will be installing them so I may try to take a file and lightly take that extra notch off and flatten the line out some. Just not sure I want to risk messing up $600 lights. Original: So I finally got time to open the box for my Depo lights and I decided to take a look at the infamous cutoff line inside the projector. Isn't the cut off line supposed to be on the top? Mine is installed on the bottom and I am afraid I have some defective units. Anyone else have this issue?? |

Here is the cutoff line up close when using a flashlight. And also a better picture of the actual cutoff piece. The cutoff piece isn't very sturdy inside so I'm not sure how well this is going to go...
