Best of luck, get it fixed! Shouldn't cost you more than some time..
Thanks, unfortunately i just got my ceramic coating done today too ... Next week when I have an appointment with my local dealer for another issue I will bring it up and see what they can do. I doubt they will give me a new bumper for that and even if they do, I will be left with an unprotected bumper ... I'm slowly accepting my fate but an answer from the dealer would be nice haha

You did the ceramic coating *over* this? Or someone else applied it? I would have just bought a new bumper and had it painted for all this concern.

Yep, it's not a scratch or anything it's just a botched paint job. Is it bad that i coated over it????

So it?s an unpainted portion of the bumper from the factory, or the bumper was repainted at some point? Either way, coating over a defect is like building a house on an unstable foundation. It?s not *bad*, but it will increase the chance that the coating will chip or peel in that area. Likely it won?t, but fixing that defect without repainting the whole bumper seems out of the question at this point.

I'm not too sure whether its repainted or it's an unpainted portion. I get where you are coming from, but whats done is done and lesson learnt! If it gets worst I'll just get a new bumper.
