Just got mine back from Dick Lovatt. Only driven it home, so not far and in traffic on M4.
I have a feeling that my map has been over written? Car feels less grunty could be me just thinking it's different?

Anyone know if this is likely?

I have a 68 reg 335d. When I checked on the recall mine is not listed as required. Does this mean they had sorted the issue by the time the 68 reg came out?

Dropped my 2016 335d in for service and to investigate the familiar coolant drop and whiff of exhaust in the cabin . . . EGR was replaced last year by Vines, and 10K miles later the replacement needs replacing! Quoted £863 . . . needless to say, have suggested they go and have conversation with BMW as I'm less than inclined to pay for a new one.

i was told parts replaced by bmw have a 2 year warranty so if it breaks I'm that period they should replace it free of charge.

I was told the same by Vines Gatwick (Three Bridges really?!) when my EGR cooler was replaced under recall, also when the EGR valve needed replacing a few months later.
